Mike Makrigiorgos PHD

Mike Makrigiorgos, PhD

Dr. Makrigiorgos is a Professor of Radiation Oncology and Director of the Medical Physics & Biophysics division at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospitals, Harvard Medical School. He is the inventor of several PCR-based techniques for molecular diagnostics, including Balanced-PCR, NaME-PrO technology and COLD-PCR. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of Clinical Chemistry and has published over 150 articles, reviews and book chapters. Dr. Makrigiorgos received his PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Leeds, UK and his postdoctoral training in radiation biology from Harvard Medical School, Boston.

Gil Mor

Gil Mor, MD, PhD

Gil Mor, MD, PhD is a tenured Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Science at Yale University School of Medicine. He is the Division Director of the Reproductive Science Division at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He directs the Reproductive Immunology Unit and the Translational Research Program “Discovery To Cure” at Yale University. Dr. Mor has been the Editor in Chief of the American Journal of Reproductive Immunology since September 2009 and is the President Elect of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology. Dr. Mor earned his PhD in Immunoendocrinology from the Weizmann Institute of Science and his MS and MD from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Mahul Amin, MD

Mahul Amin, MD

Dr. Amin is the Professor and Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Professor of Urology and the Gerwin Endowed Chair for Cancer Research at University of Tennessee Health Sciences Centre; he conducts his clinical practice as the Chief of Pathology at Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, TN. Dr. Amin co-authored the 2002 World Health Organization (WHO) classification systems for urothelial tumors and renal neoplasms (authored 7 chapters); and the 2016 WHO classification systems for tumors of the prostate, bladder, kidney, penis and testis (authored 21 chapters). Dr. Amin earned his MD at G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital in Bombay, India.
