CaseVuPrecipio is committed to protecting the environment and limiting our company’s negative impact on nature. Some of the actions we take include:
• Chemical waste – Labs typically produce substantial amounts of chemical and bio-hazard waste which get disposed of into our eco-system in a harmful way. At Precipio, we treat many of our chemicals to neutralize their impact on the environment.
• Paper – Our lab operations are paperless. Customers can complete the test requisition electronically online, which goes directly to the laboratory’s system. All internal lab procedures are digital, and completely paperless.
• Reusable reagent – our specimen collection reagent has been designed to be reused, so that after the contents of the reagent have been taken out, the box can be retained and used again for the next specimen.
